DESCRIPTION:This event is being hosted by MSP Company Secretarial\, in collaboration with NEDNet. \nThis session will consider how NEDs can use AI in a practical and proportionate way to improve board effectiveness\, board dynamics and the quality of board decision-making. The discussion will focus on where AI can genuinely help directors and governance teams: improving board papers\, sharpening pre-meeting preparation\, surfacing better questions\, encouraging more constructive challenge\, improving minutes and action tracking\, and ensuring that boards remain in control of judgement\, confidentiality and accountability. \nThe roundtable will be led by Ian Farrelly\, Director of MSP Company Secretarial. He will be joined by Simon Poole\, an experienced NED and founder of Grounded Thinking Ltd that delivers practical AI governance and training for boards\, and Paul Stark of the AI in Corporate Governance Forum and Board Intelligence. \nIan and Simon will bring a governance and board performance review perspective\, including what boards and NEDs should be asking of management\, the Chair and the company secretary.
